We’re happy to announce that some new features have been added to your Clocktower account.
Active/Inactive status for People & Projects
Now each project and person has a status of active or inactive. By changing the status to inactive the person or project no longer shows up on your people and projects page. All inactive people or projects can be accessed through the new inactive people or inactive projects page where they can easily be reactivated. This feature works well for employees that you might use seasonally or who you want to keep in Clocktower but only active them when needed for a specfic project.
Rejected time notification
When you reject an employees time sheet you are prompted with a box to provide a reason. If the user has an email address in Clocktower this user will now receive an email notification telling them that their time sheet was rejected, including your reason why the time sheet was rejected. This allows the employee to know immediately that they need to address the problem if they would like to receive a pay check.
Time Sheets needing Approval
Now when there are time sheets needing approval a notification is sent once daily to all users who have time approval privileges on projects where time sheets need approval. The email sent tells the user that they have X number of time sheets that need approval. This notification is a setting that needs to be activated by the account owner under the settings tab.
